Life's a Bitch

Life’s a Bitch is a farcical comedy about sibling rivalry, love and dogs. It is a contemporary play, set in a small country town about an awkward man called Kevin who does not particularly like dogs, but who has been asked to look after his niece’s troublesome dog for a few weeks.
While in the park, Kevin reunites with his childhood sweetheart, Denise, a dog-loving divorcee.

There are sparks of interest on both sides, but their burgeoning relationship is placed in jeopardy by the antics of her jealous dog – Jackson – who does not want a rival for mistresses’ affections.

Performed at the Lieder Theatre in 2014, with humans playing the dogs. Very physical theatre.

"A very silly play," said one viewer.
